The Original 12 mukhi Rudraksha must be energized before wearing. The divine and rare 12 mukhi beads of Rudraksha must be worn on a Sunday. Follow the procedure to energize the bead

• Wake up at dawn on a Sunday morning,
• Bathe and wear clean and fresh clothes.
• Ensure that the area where you are going to sit and chant is clean.
• Sit facing the puja altar of your house in the East direction.
• Now hold the bead in your hand and chant the Mantra 'SRI SURYAYE NAMAH' or 'AUM KRAUM SRAUM RAUM NAMAH' 108 times with complete concentration and wear the Rudraksha.

You can wear the 12 Mukhi Rudraksha bead in a bracelet or in a mala by stringing it in a silk/wool thread or you can get it capped in silver or gold.
