• If the Diamond is loose, gently drop the stone in a glass of water. If the stone sinks to the bottom, it proves that it is a real Diamond. If it floats on the surface or just below the surface of the water then it is not a real Diamond. Because of the high density of genuine Diamond it sinks.

• On a piece of paper draw a dot, and place it on a table of the firm surface. Place the Diamond with the flat side down on the dot, and view it from the top, i.e. through the pointed end. • These are some of the tests you can do to understand if the Diamond is real or fake but the best is to get it tested by a reputed jeweler or Lab who is equipped to test it. After all, a Diamond is an expensive investment.

How to Clean Diamond Stone

Use a very mild soap water, and soak the Diamond Ring in it. You can put one or two drops of dishwashing liquid in a bowl of water for this purpose.
