Brass Kalash

A beautiful brass Kalash in smooth finish. The water in the kalash symbolizes the primordial water from which the entire creation emerged.

Kalash is the most fundamental part of the daily pooja. This is meant to hold water during religious rituals. It may also be placed with due rituals on all important occasions like the traditional house warming (grahapravesh), wedding, daily worship etc by placing rice/water inside it and mango leaves at mouth and coconut in centre of leaves and a red or white thread around its neck.
