The Champa, is a beautiful Yellow flower with an sweet and intoxicating fragrance. The oil of Champa is used in hair oils, incense sticks for its fragrance. This flower can be used for decoration purpose or as an offering to God during worship. 

Flowers are an intrinsic part of Hindu worship and rituals. It is said that the fragrance of the flowers pleases the deity. they create a pleasant and aesthetic value to the puja ritual. 

The Champa is said to be favoured by Lord Ganesha, Lord Vishnu, Goddess Parvati.
