Garud Shaligram Kurma Shweta Krishna Laxmi Vishnu

The Shaligram Shila represents Lord Vishnu, the preserver and protector of the Universe, and is highly meritorious to be worshipped at home. This Shaligram Shila is named Garuda Shaligram Kurma Shweta Krishna Laxmi Vishnu, and which empowers devotees with the blessings of Lord Shri Vishnu. Garuda is the vahana (mount) of Lord Vishnu, whoseiconography is described as a huge bird like creature, partially human, with the head of an Eagle or Kyte, wings etc. Garuda could travel with great speed and served Lord Vishnu dedicatedly. Kurma is the Tortosie Avatar of Lord Vishnu who offered His back as the sturdy base for Mount Mandara, the Churning stick, during the legendary Samudra Manthan (churning of the Celestial Milky Ocean). Shweta is one of the names of Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, education, music, artistic skills, speech, memory power. Lord Krishna is the 8th Avatar of Lord Vishnu, who incarnated to uplift the collective consciousness of humanity and to guide to walk on the path of Dharma. Goddess Laxmi is the divine consort of Lord Vishnu and the Goddess of wealth, good fortune and abundance. The Shaligram Shila removes Vastu Dosha, and shields the dwelling with its high vibration.
