This artistically designed hanging, features a large unpolished Gomati Chakra shell beautifully encircled with Tulsi beads. Gomati Chakra are lucky charms found naturally in Gomati river of Dwarka tributary of the Ganges (Ganga) River that flows through central Uttar Pradesh state, northern India. It is the operculum of a kind of rare sea snail in the family Turbinidae. 

It resembles the Sudarshan Chakra or Discus of Lord Krishna and is used as a Yantra. People wear the small ones as rings or pendants or amulets or carry on their person and keep the large ones on their work desks, altar, living room or safe/lockers or hang them for protection and good luck. They are considered to ward off evil and attract good luck.
