Karthikeya Swamy Brass Statue

This brass idol of Lord Murugan (Kartikeya) is crafted in South Indian art form exudes an aura of divinity. Lord Murugan in this idol stands on pedestal in traditional design, His right hand is seen in Abhayam mudra signifying His assurance of protection from challenges and adversities. His left palm is in Varad Mudra, signifying His benevolence of granting boon of luck in assets, stability in all aspects of life and intellect.

In His upper arms, He holds a Tanka(chisel) signifying the manifestation our true essence and ability while in His other hand He holds a trident signifying balance of three Gunas which is purity, passion and chaotic. Vel (spear), His signature weapon placed besides Him diagonally represents focused mind which directed at attainment of goal. His Mount, the peacock is seen at the base representing control over sense of superiority to cultivate skills. His worship is also helpful in balancing the effects of planet Mars.
