Panchmukhi Ganesh Standing with Arch Brass Idol

Magnificent idol of Panchamukhi Ganesha majestically crafted in heavy brass is a brilliant example of creative craftsmanship. Lord Ganesha is depicted in His Panchamukhi form (Five faces) standing on beautifully designed dais. He has His right hand in blessing pose while His left palm holds a modak (sweet). All the heads of Ganesha are adorned with elegant crowns while His other eight arms are holding weapons. A traditionally designed frame at the back and the beautiful garland of Ganesha adds to the charm of the divine idol. His attendant the mouse is seen at His base. Panchamukhi Ganesha represents the pancha koshas or five sheaths of human body. The five koshas are Annamaya(physical body), Pranamaya(subtle body- chakras), Manomaya (mind and perception) , Vijnanamaya (intellect) , and Anandamaya(eternal centre of consciousness). Panchamukhi Ganesha is worshipped for protection from negative energies and for blessings of prosperity, bliss and spiritual progress.
