Primrose Oil

The Evening Primrose Carrier Oil is derived from the crushed seeds of the Evening Primrose, or Tree Primrose plant. It is predominantly a carrier Oil to which small amounts of other carrier Oils are often added. It is incredibly nutritious to the skin, and includes Gamma Linoleic Acid, and also Omega 3 and Omega 6 Fatty Acids. 

The first recorded use of Evening Primrose Oil as a health aid was with the Native American Indians. They used it both as an anti-inflammatory and also to treat asthma and other chest ailments. In later years it was used to thin the blood and to dilate blood vessels.

Application:

• Evening Primrose Oil is used for making toiletries and other bath and body manufacturing applications.
• It is used in dilution with other carrier Oils suitable for massage.
• Evening Primrose Oil is very beneficial for skin.

Usage:

• Mix few drops of oil in massage oil during body massage
• Add few drops of oil in hot bath water during bath
• Add few drops of oil in water and use in diffuser for lingering fragrance and relaxation
• Rub on palms and inhale or apply on body parts for relief
