The SiddhiVinayak Temple is one of the most important and visited temples of India. The Ganesha at the SiddhiVinayak Temple is believed to grant fulfillment of all wishes whenever humbly and genuinely prayed to. The Ganesha idol at the SiddhiVinayak Temple was carved out of a single black stone with the trunk towards the right. The Ganesha idol has four arms holding a lotus flower, an axe, a bowl of modakas, and a rosary. 

The two consorts of Lord Ganesha, Riddhi and Siddhi are on either side of Ganesha. The wooden doors to the sanctum are carved with images of the Ashtavinayak. In the periphery of the temple, there is a Hanuman temple as well. Lord Ganesha is also known as Vighnaharta as He is the remover of obstacles. Lord Ganesha is worshipped before any other God and before any ritual and start of any new endeavor.

11 Avartan Shodashopchar Puja - The Puja is done for prosperity and happiness and lasts for 45 minutes. 

Shree Satya Vinayak Mahapooja - This is an elaborate Puja done only on Friday and lasts for 120 minutes. It is performed by those who are starting a new endeavour like a job or business or purchase of Vehicle and want to seek His blessings. 

Atharvashirsha Sahasravatan – This puja is done for seeking fulfilment of a specific desire and lasts for 120 minutes. 

Sahasra Namavali – In this puja the 1000 names of Lord Ganesha are chanted and it lasts for 120 minutes. This is performed by those who wish for spiritual progress and attunement with Lord Ganesha.
