This charming idol of Radha Krishna is crafted with precision in Shaligram Shila and is meritorious to worship at home. The Shaligram Shila is a self-manifested stone which represents Lord Vishnu and has been worshipped since ancient times. Lord Krishna is theeighth Avatar of Lord Vishnu and is one of the most popular and highly revered deities of the Hindu pantheon. Radha Ranijee is the beloved ‘Gopi’ of Lord Krishna and their love for each other is legendary. This idol portrays Lord Krishna and Randha Ranijee standing close to each other, with one arm of Radha Ranijee around the shoulders of Shri Krishna and another placed lovingly on His upper arm. Lord Krishna’s hands are poised to play His enchanting flute and His legs are crossed at the ankle, a characteristic posture of the Divine Lord. The attires of both Lord Krishna and Radha Ranijee are beautifully carved and their faces are etched with a blissful expression. The back of the idol is carved with traditional design patterns. From the time Lord Krishna was born, He had graced the world with His ‘Leela’ (pastime) and the many Leelas of Radha Krishna are not only famous in Mathura and Vrindavan but enjoyed by devotees till date, in the form of beautiful love songs. The ancient texts say Radha Ranijee was a form of Goddess Mahalaxmi had who had incarnate as Radha because Lord Krishna was Vishnuji and Goddess Laxmi is the divine consort Lord Vishnu. Radha Raniji’s love for Shri Krishna was so deep that it is described as ‘Bhakti’ (devotion). The Shaligram Shila removes Vastu Dosha and shields the dwelling with its high vibration frequency.

The Shaligram shila is collected from Kali Gandaki river in Nepal. This powerful stone can be worshipped without the doing the ritual of Pranprathista (consecration) and the Shaligram does not lose its power even if it breaks or cracks. The worship of Shaligram focuses on six virtues of life which includes creation of wealth, good health, worldly and spiritual pleasures, spiritual progress, protection and righteous living. Regular worship of Shaligram shila is done by performing the sacred bathing, Abhishek, with water and Tulsi leaves and a mixture of Cow Milk(without boiling), Curd, Ghee, Honey, Sugar.
