Rahu - The Dragons Head in Bronze

This idol made in heavy bronze features Rahu standing on a beautifully designed dais. In this idol, Rahu has a head of a snake and human body. He is decked with jewels and His right hand is raised in Abhaya mudra and left hand is seen in Varad mudra. He holds a pot is upper left palm and a snake in upper right hand. The idol due to its traditional design and rich carving looks truly charming. Rahu is shadow planet and signifies the north node of the Moon. He is one of the nine astrological planets. It presides over past life karma, speculative nature, honesty, luck, old age diseases, mishaps, religious beliefs, addiction and obstacles in accomplishment of goals. Rahu is worshipped for pacifying the malefic effects of the planet and protection from mishaps, hidden enemies and negative energies.
