This violet Lingam is carved from Amethyst Gemstone, mounted on a beige coloured stone Yoni base which is made from stones found in the banks of the holy Narmada river that makes this Shivling highly auspicious to worship. The Lingam represents the generative power of Lord Shiva. It is also the cosmic egg which symbolizes the Brahmanda. The Yoni base represents the Divine Mother, Goddess Adi Parashakti (Prakriti), which unites with theLingam/Shiva (Purusha), which is the point of creation of all beings and the point of dissolution at the end of time.
