Yantras are intricate and powerful geometric diagrams that hold profound significance in various cultures and traditions. They are geometric representations of specific Deities/Energies like how Mantras are audio/verbal representations of different Gods. Yantras act as channels to invoke the blessings and qualities of these specific deities. The Chakra's Sanskrit name for Anahata is "unstruck” or “unhurt". This implies the ability to remain untouched by the drama and dream of the world, always residing in a state of eternal love and peace. The Anahata Chakra Yantra spreads unconditional love wherever we go, renewing negatively charged environments and turning them into afresh experiences.
The 2-dimensional diagram of Anahata Chakra Yantra has its beej mantra (YAM) etched at its center (Bindu) along with a little downward pointing Triangle on it, symbolic of the stream of soul consciousness towards the manifest world. It is surrounded by two triangles which are interlocked and inverted forming a six-pointed star or Shaktona, which stands for the divine unification of Shiva (Male energy) and Shakti (Female energy) which is the cause of all creation. The yantra comprises a beautiful 12 Petals of Lotus depiction. Each of these has a Sanskrit letter etched on it (kam, kham, gam, gham, ngam, cham, chham, jam, jham, nyam, tam, tham) representing the 12 divine qualities of the heart, namely, bliss, peace, harmony, love, understanding, empathy, clarity, purity, unity, compassion, kindness and forgiveness. They also signify the 12 negative qualities or tendences (Vrittis) of the heart, namely, Asha (desire), Cinta (anxiety), Cesta (effort), Mamta (possessiveness), Dhamba (arrogance), Viveka (discrimination), Vikalata (languor), Ahamkara (pride), Lolata (avarice), Kapatata (hypocrisy), Vitarka (indecision) and Anutapa (misery). The Squares (Bhupura) in the outer part of the diagram stand for manifestation in the material world. Taken together, the Anahata Chakra Yantra is a powerful tool for manifesting our purest intentions in the world.
In Sanskrit, Anahata means "sound produced without touching two parts" as well as "pure" or "clean, stainless". This chakra represents the freshness that results from detachment and openness to life's seemingly contradictory experiences. At the Anahata chakra level, two opposing forces can be balanced to achieve the desired outcome without engaging in direct combat. This energy of collaboration and integration brings peace and insight to a world that was previously a conscious struggle between opposing forces in the lower chakras. Consequently, the Anahata Chakra Yantra restores synergy in relationships, bringing about harmony, purity, and happiness.
According to the Vedas, a yantra works in tune with the cosmic order. A yantra's sacred geometric patterns align the vibrations within it (microcosm) with the universal energy (macrocosm), allowing evoked energies to enter our lives. The yantra’s layout resonate with specific frequencies, letting the individual's energy to line up with universal forces. Anahata Chakra Yantra carries an air of freshness in our relationships, fostering love, forgiveness, and friendship. It winds out bitter emotions and memories, bringing back cheerfulness to the environment.
