Ati Rudram is considered the most potent and highest form of worship dedicated to Lord Shiva. Ati means ultimate and Rudra is a name of Lord Shiva. The Ati Rudram is such a powerful Vedic ritual that as per scriptures conducting the Ati Rudram is the best karma a human being can do in his lifetime to attain spiritual liberation and achieve union with Lord Shiva. It not only ensures individual peace and prosperity but also assists in protection of Dharma, revival of Vedas and welfare of all mankind. Lord Shiva, is the Para Brahmana, the Supreme Consciousness, the Divine Cosmic energy that pervades all that exists. As Rudra, He is the One who is fierce and untamed and through this Yajna, He is pacified to reveal His benevolent form Shiva who is the supreme Brahman.
Sri Rudram, also known as Rudraprasna is a hymn from the Yajur Veda. It consists of two parts the Namakam (Chapter 16) and Chamakam (Chapter 18). The hymns invoke Lord Rudra, glorify Him and request the Lord for His blessings of wish fulfillment both material and spiritual. They comprise of 14,641 repetitions of the Sri Rudram and Chamakam.

11 recitations of Laghu Rudram chanting constitute a Maha Rudram, and

During the Ati Rudram, there is regular and continuous recitation of all the four-Vedas (Rigved, Saamved, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda), Ramayan of Tulsidas, Shrimad Bhagwat (Original in Sanskrit) and Shivpuran. Ati Rudram will be conducted for 11 continuous days and will be accompanied with Abhishekam, meaning continuous pouring of milk on the Narmadeshwar Shivlings, which will be sanctified by Vedic rituals by Jala-shayan, Anna-shayan, Pushpa-shayan etc. before starting the Ati Rudra ritual. At the end of each day, Homa will be performed. The Ati Rudram will be conducted by 66 most scholarly Vedic pundits, who follow the Shukla Yajurved system.

2. 121 Ritviks (Vedic priests who conduct Vedic rituals and Yagnas) chant Ekadasa Rudram simultaneously that results in completing a Maha Rudram.
3. Typically, in the Ati Rudram, a Maha Rudram is completed in 1 day resulting in the chanting of the Rudram 1331 (121x11) times.
4. A Maha Rudram repeated for 11 days would complete an Ati Rudram during which the Sri Rudram would have been chanted a total of 14641 (121x121) times.

Shiva Yantra: Yantras are geometric representation of deities. This yantra can be kept in your purse/wallet/laptop bag/drawer/cash box/puja altar. The best direction for the yantra will be North East Facing South West
7 Mukhi Rudraksha: 7 mukhi blesses the yajman with wealth & peace. This can be worn on the right hand as a bracelet for best results. You can get in touch with RRCT therapist for guidance
Silver Tabeez: This amulet consists of Lord Shiva Mantra written on Bhojpatra which was energized in the puja. It can be worn in the neck
Molly Thread: This Holy thread can be tied on the right hand
Dry Fruits Prasad: These were offered to Lord Rudra during the puja and can be consumed by the Yajman/Participant
Rudraksha Mala: This Rudraksh Mala can be used for Japa or rosary
Puja Coins: Coin of Ganesh, Laxmi & Saraswati will be sent which can be kept in your purse/wallet/laptop bag/drawer/cash box/puja alter and blesses the yajman/participant with prosperity & luck
Tilaks: Kumkum Sandalwood Paste/Powders are sent which can be applied on the Yantra, Deity Idols or Forehead while doing puja
Vibhuti (Bhasma)/Holy Ash: The Bhasma of the Maha Rudra puja will be sent which can be applied on your forehead, throat, chest, biceps
Holy Betel Nut: Betel Nut decorated in holy thread will be sent for good luck
Prosperity Bowl: A Prosperity Bowl consisting of Gomati Chakra, Cowry, Sriphal, Lotus Seeds and Shell to be kept in cash box or wallet or money lockers for financial prosperity

Have a Bath & Wear Clean Clothes Before the Puja
Avoid Eating Spicy Foods, Onion, Garlic, Non-Vegetarian on the day(s) of the puja.
