Dhanteras or Dhantrayodashi is celebrated on the first day of the five day long Diwali festival. 'Dhan' stands for wealth and 'Teras' signify thirteenth day thus Dhanteras is celebrated every year on Trayodashi of Kartik Krishna Paksha. The day of Dhanteras is primarily dedicated to Goddess Laxmi, the Goddess of wealth, prosperity, success and abundance. On the day of Dhanteras, along with Goddess Laxmi, Lord Ganesh and Lord Kuber and Lord Dhanvantri, the God of Ayurveda who emerged from Samundra Manthan (Churning of Oceans) on the day of Dhanteras are worshipped. The Dhanteras Puja holds a special significance for business community as on this day Goddess Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and prosperity is worshipped and Her blessings are sought for year long success and progress in work. Also on the day of Dhanteras a new article preferably made of Gold is purchased to symbolize prosperity.
Kalash Sthapana, Panchang Sthapana (Gauri Ganesh, Punyavachan, Shodash Matrika, Navgraha, Sarvotabhadra), 64 Yogini Pujan, Shetrapal Pujan, Swasti Vachan, Sankalpa, Pujan (Invocation of major Gods and Goddesses in Kalash), Navgraha Pujan, Ganesh, Lakshmi, Kubera, and Dhanvantari Abhishek and Pujan with the recitation of Ganesh Atharvashirsha, Sri Suktam, Kubera Stotra, and Dhanvantari Stotra. Chanting of Ganesh Mantra (1100 times), Lakshmi Mantra (1100 times), Dhanvantari Mantra (1100 times), and Kubera Mantra (1100 times), followed by Aarti and Pushpanjali.

A short Video of the Sankalpa and mantra chanting would be sent to you along with the photographs of the Puja ritual. You may connect with the priest during the puja (video or phone call) on WhatsApp or Skype and watch the rituals live. Puja Tokri having prasad, energized Rudraksha, silver tabeez and yantra would be sent along. Rudra Centre priests will perform Dhanteras Puja as per Vedic rituals based on birth details. The Puja Tokri will consist of:
Energized Yantra: This Yantra can be kept in your purse, wallet, laptop bag, drawer, cash box, or puja altar. For the best results, place the Yantra in the East, facing West.
7 Mukhi Rudraksha with Tabeez: This Rudraksha attracts wealth and new opportunities. The Tabeez contains homa bhasma (sacred ash) and a mantra inscribed on bhojpatra.
Mauli Thread: This sacred thread can be tied on the right hand for a few days, then discarded in the soil.
Prasad: These offerings were blessed during the puja vidhi (ceremony) and can be consumed by the yajman (participant).
Puja Coin: A coin bearing the images of Ganesh, Laxmi, and Saraswati will be sent. This coin can be kept in a purse, wallet, laptop bag, drawer, cash box, or puja altar, bringing prosperity and luck to the yajman.
Tilak: Fragrant Tilak to be applied to the Yantra, deity idols, or on the forehead during puja.
Holy Betel Nut: A decorated Betel Nut, symbolizing good luck, will be sent to be kept in the altar or a safe place.
Prosperity Bowl: This bowl contains Gomati Chakra, cowries, Sriphal, lotus seeds, and shells, to be kept in a cash box, wallet, or money locker for financial prosperity.
