Kuber Maharaj Ashtadhatu Idol

This exquisite idol of Kuber is made from Ashtadhatu and depicts Kuber in a seated posture. He has a large belly and is adorned with lavish jewels while holding a pot of gold in his hands. A mongoose and a pot full of treasures can be seen by his side. Kuber is responsible for safeguarding universal wealth, and worshipping him can bring an inflow of wealth as well as attract riches and new opportunities to generate income. 

Kubera, also known as the Lord of Wealth, is the god-king of the semi-divine Yakshas. He is considered the ruler of the North direction and is a protector of the world, hence also renowned as Lokpala. Kubera is the son of Visrava and the grandson of Brahma, the Creator. He is a devotee of Lord Shiva and after an austere penance, Lord Shiva made him the Lord of wealth. Kubera is the trustee of all wealth and food grains, but he is not the originator of wealth. He is the distributor of wealth. 

Ashtadhatu is a sacred mixture of 8 metals used for making Traditional Indian Idols and consists of Gold, Silver, Copper, Lead, Zinc, Tin, Iron & Mercury. 

Note: Gold & Silver are present in very small trace amounts. 

Placement: The ideal place to keep a god idol is on a dedicated altar for prominence and respect, in a peaceful corner of the living room for daily worship and contemplation, or on a work desk or near the entrance of home/office for spiritual inspiration.
