Narsimha Laxmi Ashtadhatu Idol

This stunning Narsimha Laxmi idol is made from Ashtadhatu and depicts Lord Narsimha with Goddess Laxmi seated on His left lap. Lord Narsimha is the fourth Avatar of Lord Vishnu who appeared to save His devout follower Prahalada from being burned alive by his own father. Lord Narsimha has a lion's head, a human body, and clawed fingers, making Him a formidable figure.  

This statue presents Lord Narsimha in a different light than His usual fierce form. He is depicted as calm and His right hand is raised in Abhaya mudra, representing His protection and blessings for His followers. His left hand is lovingly placed around Goddess Laxmi, who is the Goddess of wealth, prosperity, good fortune, and abundance. In this idol, She is holding a Lotus in Her right hand, symbolizing auspiciousness and good fortune. Behind Lord Narsimha and Maa Laxmi, the multi-headed Sheshnag (Lord Vishnu's Snake) rises above, with His fanned hood spread like an umbrella, providing protection over the deities.
