Margashirsha Maha Lakshmi Puja on Guruwar(Thursday)

The ninth month of the Hindu calendar is regarded as Margashirsha (November-December). This is month is regarded as a highly auspicious month because it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshami. In the month of Margashirsha, on every Thursday Laxmi Puja is performed and fast is observed by devotees. Goddess Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth, prosperity and good fortune and observing Margashirsha Lakshmi Puja and also fasting on this day is considered highly rewarding and meritorious for devotees.
