Yantras are sacred diagrams which finds mention in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and many other oriental philosophies. They are blueprints of the universe underlying structure and have been used by Tantrics, Yogis & Sadhaks for material as well as spiritual augmentation. Yantra is translated to “instrument” in Sanskrit and are divine tools to align with specific deities. They comprise of specific symbols, shapes, syllables, numbers and patterns which serve as conduits to higher consciousness allowing you to tap into the transformative power and create resonance between the physical and metaphysical realms. Many scriptures confirm that installing and worshipping Yantras blesses one with immense benefits and elevates one both materially as well as spiritually. Since ancient times Yantras have been a part of Alchemy, Tantra, Architecture, Medicine, Art and many other disciplines examples of these can be found in various temples as the Domes placed above of Garb Griha are usually Shree Yantras designs. These geometric patterns often include circles, triangles, squares, and floral shapes, meticulously arranged to create a harmonious and balanced composition. The symbology behind each shape imparts unique qualities to the yantra and its associated energy. The meaning behind some symbols are mentioned below.

Bindu (Dot)

It represents the energy's extreme concentration at the center. Also known as the center of cosmic radiation, the Bindu, which is bounded by various surfaces including a triangle, hexagon, a circle, and others, represents the union with the force or creative energy ruling the yantra. Focusing on the Bindu is the gateway to merge in Union with the divine.

Ghera (Circle)

Also known as 'Chakra' it represents rotation, which is fundamental to the macrocosmic progression. Furthermore, the circle symbolizes the cycles of nature on all levels. From the atomic nucleus to the largest bodies in the universe, everything participates in the cycle. The central goal of spirituality is to experience the oneness of these realms.

Trikona (Triangle)

The downward-pointing triangle represents the Yoni, the origin of all creations, and the feminine aspect of the universe or Shakti. It is related to the Water element as water always flows downwards. The upward-pointing triangle signifies strong spiritual desire, the transfer of one's nature into higher and subtler realms, and the masculine aspect of the universe or Shiva. It is related to the Fire element as Agni always burns upwards.

Varg (Square)

The four equal parts of the square are associated with stability, balance, and the earthly realm. It represents the grounded nature of existence and serves as a stable foundation for the more complex geometric patterns and symbols to be built into the yantra.

Shatkona (Six-Pointed Star)

Also known as Hexagram is an archetypal amalgamation of two interlocked triangles in the yantra. It characteristically signifies the divine unification of Shiva (upwards pointing triangle) and Shakti (downwards pointing triangle) which is the cause of all creation.

Hexagon

The hexagon symbolizes the union of male and female forces in intertwined triangles. This is the fusion of polarities that remains in perfect balance. Since the two larger overlapping triangles create six smaller triangles, the resulting hexagon is a six-equal-part geometrical figure.

Bhupur (Outer Gates)

The square on each side of the yantra represents the four cardinal directions from which gates open to invite the viewer into the yantra's center. These portals also serve as a means of communication between the subtler world and the plane of material existence. They also represent the transition between the individual's inner and outer worlds.

Padma (Lotus Petals)

The lotus petals are divine seats for the devas (gods). It also symbolizes detachment. It grows in the mud but never touches it, representing detachment from the external forces (material world) and the preservation of the original nature, which is pure and divine. Hence, lotus petals represents purity, enlightenment, and transcendence, as well as the unfolding of the divine essence within.

Pentagram

This regular five-pointed star polygon represents Shiva in five ways: conqueror of death, source of life, master of the senses, and lord of the five elements, which are Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Space.

Octagon

An octagon is a geometric shape with eight sides and eight angles representing the eight directions: North, South, East, West, North East, South West, North West, and South West.

What is Shree Yantra?

Shree or “Sri” yantra is a sacred geometric pattern used in Hindu Tantra rituals. The term is derived from the Sanskrit words Sri, meaning "radiant" or "splendid," and yantra, meaning "a mystical diagram." Shree Yantra also known as Sri Chakra is one of the most powerful diagrams described in Sri Sukta in the Rig Veda, Shvetashvatara Upanishad and many other ancient scriptures. In Sanskrit, Shree means wealth and prosperity whereas Yantra means instrument, hence the Shree Yantra is used in Shri Vidya Sadhana and can help one manifest immense wealth, prosperity, abundance, growth in all spheres of life.

The Shree Yantra consists of nine interlocking triangles enclosed within a circle, with four triangles pointing upward and five triangles pointing downward. Triangles pointing upward represent masculine energy or Shiva, while triangles pointing downward represent feminine energy or Shakti. The interlocking and intersecting of nine triangles results in 43 triangles emanating from a single central point, or Bindu.

Shree Yantra is a diagram of interlocking triangles, circles, and lotus that represents the divine energies of all Gods and Goddesses and is thought to carry their combined power. It is essentially a representation of your entire life, which is a play of Goddess Lalita.

According to Vedic texts, the Shree Yantra helps an individual achieve success and growth in all aspects of life.

How do Yantras Work?

Yantras work by energetic resonance. Each yantra represents a deity and resonates with the powerful mantra reverberating with the deity’s energy. When you begin reciting a mantra with complete devotion to the center of the Yantra, you connect with the divine energies embedded in it. Through constant contemplation and mantra chanting, focusing on the Yantra's center amplifies the divine deity's supreme energy and manifests your heart's desires. Yantras increase the absorption power on a specific deity and thus help to increase the intensity of prayers, making it possible to fulfill our wants more strongly.

A yantra derives its power from the resonance of cosmic energies. Yantras are composed of geometrical shapes generating a subtle range of cosmic force matching the invoked energy. When you chant a Vedic mantra, the layers of energy in the microcosm vibrate on the same wavelength with the corresponding energy current in the macrocosm.

Every yantra has a ruling deity and the energies of this deity are stored in the yantra through its intricated geometries. The energetic vibrations emitted by yantras correspond to the symbols and forms they contain. By gazing at or meditating on a yantra, one's personal energy is attuned to the yantra's divine, higher, more harmonious vibrations. They possess specific energetic, vibrational, and symbolic properties that can influence consciousness, align energies, and promote spiritual development.

Yantras are made up of precise geometric shapes like triangles, circles, squares, and more complex patterns. These shapes are energetically charged and resonate with the fundamental structures of the universe. The precise arrangement of these shapes creates a harmonious and balanced energy field which when installed in a dwelling energizes the entire place as well as the individuals residing in that dwelling.

Where to Install & Place Yantras?

Yantras energize the location where they are installed. You may place it near the entrance of your home/office/shop or in your living room or reception or study room or office cabin. You may keep it on a table or use it as a wall hanging.

Yantras are best placed in the East direction facing West. It gets energized by the rising rays of the Sun and with the divine vibrations of the East corner and provides positive transformation energies to the dwelling through its mystical geometry.

Different Types of Yantras

Yantras are built in either flat or two-dimensional linear structures (2D) or in 3 dimensional projections or 3D pyramidal (Meru) form. Yantras made in 2D sheets have a broader range of presentations and etched diagrams on them, such as Mahayantras which have two or more diagrams etched on them. Wearable yantra rings and lockets, wall hanging yantras and laser print yantras in silk are all 2 dimensional.

The 2D yantras including the mahayantras are easier to install because they do not take up as much space and are more versatile to place due to their flat form. They are also more convenient to carry outside the home altar, such as when traveling, and the smaller ones can be carried in your pocket or purse. The symbols and mantras on them can be also more detailed because they are etched on plates. They are also a lovely choice for art decoration in metal or wood frames.

Although most yantras are geometrical there are also numerical yantras. Geometric yantras emphasize the arrangement of visual geometric shapes and patterns for meditation, concentration, and the invocation of specific energies. Numerical yantras are created by associating numerical values with letters to achieve the same energetic invocation through the resonance of these combinations.

2D Yantras: Two Dimensional diagrams of yantras which are usually drawn on paper, etched/embossed on sheets of metal, stone, gemstone, clothe etc.

3D Yantra (Meru Yantras): Three-Dimensional projection of Yantra diagrams, they have often have levels as per every Avaran (Step) of the Yantra. The Centre Point is the object of focus. They are usually casted in Metals or carved on stone.

Numeric Yantras: These are 2 Dimensional Yantra comprised of Only Numbers. Numbers hold immense power and an entire science of Numerology has been devised on this principle. Number when arranged in these specific patterns represent cosmic energies and various deities. Just like 2D Yantras these are usually drawn on paper, etched/embossed on sheets of metal, stone, gemstone, clothe etc

Yantras Manufactured by Rudra Centre

After observing that many manufacturers were selling Yantras with inaccurate diagrams and low-quality metals, Sakhashree Neeta (Director of Rudra Centre) decided to research and manufacture Yantras herself. After studying the Vedas, Puranas, Tantras & Agamas over a period of 2 years Sakhashree used her technical skills as a Software Engineer to design all of diagrams accurately using software like AutoCAD and CorelDRAW, she uncovered many secrets unknown to most people about these diagrams and how to use them to achieve union with divine energies. She realized that Yantras are powerful tools for Meditation, Manifestation, Purification and to attain Siddhis (Spiritual Powers) & Riddhis (Material Success). After this a unit was set up to produce these Yantras using high quality heavy metal sheets of Brass and Copper. The processes involved in developing our range of Yantras are mentioned below.

Cutting of Brass & Copper Sheets

Each production batch is meticulously planned, and the Brass & Copper Sheets are cut into desired dimensions we offer the Yantra sheets in 3x3 inches, 5x5 inches, 6x6 inches, 9x9 inches, 12x12 inches, 3.5x5 inches and the 3D Siddh Meru Double Lotus Yantras require customized planning as each diagram is unique. Depending on the product the sheets are cut using hydraulic press machine (for Yantra Lockets) or Laser cutting technology (for Yantra Sheets) into desired sizes.

Etching

The sheets are then sent through the etching process, in which the CDRs of accurate Yantra Diagrams are developed into acid resistant protective films that are applied over the sheets, and the entire sheet is dipped in acidic solution, causing the diagram to be etched over the sheets. Following this, our Quality Control team inspects each yantra and replaces damaged pieces if any.

Gold Plating & Antique Finish Lacquer

As per requirement the Yantras are sent for either Gold Plating or Antique Finish Lacquer. We plate our Yantras with 24K Gold solution of the highest quality which has 10 years guarantee and will last for a longer time if proper care and maintenance is observed. Even our Antique Finish yantras are very classy to look at as they appear to have Matt Finish on Brass or Copper which looks very appealing. Antique & Gold Finish makes the Yantras corrosion resistant. After this process our Quality Control team inspects each yantra and discards any damaged pieces.

Energization & Consecration

Since Yantras are made by our in-house artisan, we give them life so that our customers can use them. Our priests perform Pran Prathistha energization of all the yantras so that they can remove any negativity and stress. They also infuse the yantras with the energies of the specific deity so that they can be used for Puja and Sadhana. Once the Pran Prathistha is done, the Yantras are put back in stock and the stock counts on our website are updated.

Benefits of Yantras

Yantras serve as potent meditation focal points. Meditation on a yantra can aid practitioners in concentrating their thoughts and calming their minds, resulting in enhanced meditation experiences and heightened mindfulness. The intricate patterns and symmetrical designs of yantras are effective in reducing stress, anxiety, and restlessness.

Yantra meditation promotes heightened awareness and focus on the present moment. Yantras emit distinct vibrations of energy that resonate with higher states of consciousness. It is believed that meditating on a yantra aligns one's personal energy with these higher vibrations, resulting in a sense of balance and harmony.

Yantras assist in balancing and activating the respective chakras, thereby promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual health. By interacting with the yantra's sacred symbols and geometry, practitioners can gain insights into their own nature and increase their self-awareness.

Yantras can be utilized as instruments for amplifying intentions. By focusing on positive intentions while meditating on a yantra, one can manifest desired outcomes and cultivate a positive mindset. Different yantras are associated with qualities or virtues, such as bravery, compassion, abundance, and wisdom. By meditating on these yantras, practitioners can attempt to cultivate within themselves the qualities that reflect and manifest in the external world.

Yantras provide protection, guidance, and empowerment to those who work with them due to their association with deities or cosmic forces. Engaging with these patterns aligns practitioners with the universal order and higher truths.

How to Use Yantras?

Effective yantra use requires a combination of intention, focused practice, and reverence for the sacred symbolism they represent.

Follow the next steps:

Choose a Yantra: Choose a yantra that resonates with your intentions, goals, or desired qualities. Different yantras serve different functions and have different attributes, so choose one that corresponds to your spiritual path.

Create a Sacred Space: Locate a clean, quiet space where you can sit comfortably and without distractions. You may want to set up an altar or designate a specific location for your yantra practice.

Cleanse and Purify: It's a good idea to cleanse and purify a yantra before using it. This can be accomplished by gently wiping the yantra with a clean cloth or by using purified water. This contributes to the creation of a clean and energetically clear environment.

Set Your Intention: Decide how you want to use the yantra. This could be for spiritual development, healing, abundance, protection, or any other reason. Keep your intention in mind at all times.

Visualize the Yantra: Gently gaze at the center of the yantra (the Bindu or central point). Allow the intricate patterns and symbols to fill your awareness as you gaze at the yantra. Imagine the yantra's energy permeating your entire being.

Focus and Contemplation: Maintain your concentration on the yantra. If your thoughts begin to wander, gently bring them back to the yantra. This sustained concentration practice strengthens your connection to the yantra's energy.

Mantra Invocation: Recite the specific mantra associated with the yantra. This can improve your meditation and align your intention with the energy of the yantra.

Closing the Practice: When you are ready to conclude your practice, close your eyes gently and take a few deep breaths. Express your gratitude for the experience and the yantra's energy.

Regular Practice: Consistency is essential for reaping the benefits of yantras. Incorporate yantra meditation into your regular spiritual practice to strengthen your connection and witness gradual transformations.

How to Clean & Maintain Yantras?

Our Yantras are made of Brass & Copper usually coated with a Gold Plating or Metal Layer or Antique Lacquer. This prevents corrosion of the material and makes it last for generations. To clean the Yantra wipe it with a clean wet cloth, Make sure to not scratch the surface or the yantra diagrams while cleaning. If the metal sheet seems to be corroding or developing an oxide layer (although this is unlikely) you can wash it with Pitambari Powder, Coalgate Powder or Dara Liquid Metal Polish. Regularly clean and dust the area around the yantra. This contributes to its energetic purity. Approach yantra cleansing with respect and profound reverence.

Yantras as Vastu Rectification Tools

Different yantras are used to address various aspects of Vastu-related issues. Our Sampoorna Vastu Mahayantra is the most powerful to rectify all Vastu defects like cuts, corners, extension and more. There are specific deities which rule the different corners of the dwelling like North West is ruled by Kuber Maharaj, South West is ruled by Bhagwan Ganesh, North East is ruled by Bhagwan Shiva hence their specific yantras can be installed in these locations to manifest desires results. Planets also rule different corners of the dwelling and specific Yantras of those planets can be installed to rectofy Vastu defects. It is best to consult with our Expert for guidance. You can book Chakra Vastu Consultation. Our experts will advise you on which yantras to use and where to place them.

Yantras in Ancient Temples

Ancient temples such as the Ramanathaswamy Temple in Tamil Nadu, South India, have corridors with colorful yantras on their ceilings. Yantras had been extensively used in the building, art and rituals of old temples. You can find these geometric patterns on walls, columns, ceilings and floors. They are related with gods, cosmic symbolism, or energies that have something to do with the temple's deity and purpose. These architectural yantras bring spiritual energies into the temple and help bring people together. Temples are places where people go to pray and do rituals, and yantras are an important part of these activities. Yantras are often found permanently set up on the altars of old temples. Their purpose was to call on the powers and blessings of the gods.
Ancient temples follow the principles of Vastu Shastra and other architectural rules when it comes to their layout and design. In these schemes, yantras were used as part of the sacred geometry that tells where different parts of the temple should go. The layout can be thought of as a kind of living yantra that is meant to bring together certain energies. People often go on pilgrimages to old temples with big yantras in order to get blessings and have spiritual experiences. These yantras give off good energies that can change the lives of people who visit them and interact with them.

How to choose right Yantras for myself?

To choose the right yantra for you, you need to know your own needs, goals, and spiritual leanings. Yantras are strong visuals that can help you focus your energy on certain goals. Figure out where you want to put your attention. Yantras are linked to many things, like money, health, safety, love, spiritual growth, and more.
Make sure you know what you want before you choose a yantra. Find out about the different yantras that match your goal, and what each yantra means, what it is used for, and how it affects energy. Look into the gods, mantras, and rituals that go with it as well. Believe what you feel. Pay attention to how you feel and what you do when you try out different yantras. You might feel drawn to a certain yantra because it resonates with you on a personal level.
Choosing a suitable yantra is a personal and important process. Take your time to look into and think about the choices you have. Your intention, intuition, and honest connection to the yantra will help you make the best choice for your life and spiritual path.

How to Meditate with Yantras (Visualization Technique)

Meditating on the Yantra is the most powerful way to achieve union with the diagram. Achieving the union is said to reveal all secrets of the world and one is supposed to gain access to knowledge of higher realms.

In an oversimplified sense one must recreate the Yantra diagram accurately in the mind and visualize it.
One can start by sitting in a comfortable posture facing east with an accurate image of the Yantra at their Eye Level.
Perform Pranayama Anolom Vilom (Alternating nostril breaths) 10 times and meditate to purify your mind and thoughts.
Start by focusing on the Centre Point Bindu with your gaze going inward to outward from the Bindu to the outer layers in the outermost part of the yantra. Then your gaze should go from the Outermost layer back to the Bindu develop this practice to maintain focus for atleast 30 minutes
Once you have achieved this you can try recreate the yantra in your mind with eyes closed.
Once you can create and sustain an accurate image of the Yantra in your mind try to repeat the same process of going from the innermost part to outermost back to innermost in your mind in meditation with your eyes closed.

Yantras are very complex engines of energy containing nested geometrical figures, arrays of mystic patterns and a series of ancient hyper sigils laced with archetypical designs following the mathematical rhythms of natural forces to attract cosmic energy and emit powerful vibrational frequencies.

Yantras have embedded energetic patterns that once they are activated the whole yantra mechanism is empowered until the positive intentions contained within it are manifested.

Effective yantra use requires a combination of intention, focused practice, and reverence for the sacred symbolism they represent.

No, there are no side effects or negative effects of installing yantras at home.

No, it is not required to pray to yantras daily.

Yes, yantras are excellent tools for rectifying Vastu Defects, it consists of energies of all Gods, Goddesses, Deities and Elements.

Furthermore, the yantra is programmed to fulfill a specific outcome you wish to achieve from it during the activation process.

It should take around 7-10 days for most yantras to adjust to the energies of the dwelling after which it will start showing results.

Ideally one should place the yantra in the East corner of the room facing west since yantras gets energized by the Sun.

Shree Yantra is one of Hinduism's most well-known and revered yantras. Its intricate geometric patterns represent the whole universe and the interplay of all divine forces.

Make sure the Yantra doesn't have any scratches or cuts which is disrupting the diagram. You need to have a bath and purify your mind and thought before installing the Yantra by meditating. Although the Yantra will energize the location wherever it is installed, preferably place it on the East Corner of the room facing West
