Kanakdhara Yantra energizes the location where it is installed. You may place it near the entrance of your home/office/shop or in your living room or reception or study room or office cabin. You may keep it on a table or use it as a wall hanging. Yantra is best placed in the East direction facing West. It gets energized by the rising rays of the Sun and with the divine vibrations of the East corner and provides positive transformation energies to the dwelling through its mystical geometry.
Yantras are intricate and powerful geometric diagrams that hold profound significance in various cultures and traditions. They are geometric representations of specific Deities/Energies like how Mantras are audio/verbal representations of different Gods. Yantras act as channels to invoke the blessings and qualities of these specific deities. The Kanakdhara Yantra emits positive energy and vibrations through its specific geometric shapes and patterns. It is typically made of metal, such as copper or gold, and comprises a series of interconnected triangles and squares within a circle. The intricate design of the yantra visually represents the cosmic energies associated with Lakshmi devi. Her devotees utilize the Kanakdhara Yantra for a variety of purposes, primarily to attract wealth, prosperity, and abundance into their lives. By focusing their thoughts and intentions on the yantra, devotees attempt to connect with Lakshmi's divine energy and ask her blessings.
The 2-dimensional diagram of Kanakdhara Yantra comprises several interlocked Triangles around its Bindu or Central Point which represents the principal deity associated with the yantra, and the retinue of the deity is depicted in the geometric forms surrounding this center. Kanakdhara Yantra’s center is surrounded by Three Triangles arranged as a little downward pointing triangle encircling the Bindu, which stands for Shakti or the feminine principle, followed by a larger triangle that is pointing upwards related to Shiva or the masculine principle, and followed by an inverted third Triangle wrapping the two in the center. This remarkable triangle pointing downwards characterizes the Yoni which is the source of all creations and represents the Water Element for water flows down. Hence, it is symbolic of the energy of Devi, in this case, Lakshmi Mata. The power of this feminine energy is expanded by Circles (manifestation and expansion) and Lotus petals with etched sacred beej mantras and numerals related with the unfolding of the divine essence within the yantra in all its potential and purity. The lotus is like the navel of creation. In fact, the lotus is sometimes depicted as springing from the navel of Vishnu and giving birth to Brahma, two of the deities in the Hindu trinity. The lotus flower is also associated with Ma Lakshmi. Three Circles surrounding the lotus petals indicate constant expansiveness of the energies embedded on the inner shapes. In the outermost part of the yantra there are four Squares referred to as the ‘Guru Gyan Bhupura’ that represents the Earth Element and the manifestation of the essence of the yantra in the material world. Taken together, the yantra consists of an union of very powerful forms for uninterrupted flow of wealth to the worshiper.
Ma Lakshmi devi is revered as the goddess of wealth, prosperity, abundance, and good fortune. She is regarded as one of the primary devis and is a beautiful devi who is often depicted with a golden complexion, four arms, and jewelry. She is associated with material and spiritual wealth, and her presence is thought to bring her devotees prosperity, luck, and well-being. Lakshmi is regarded as the divine feminine energy of her consort, Bhagawan Vishnu, and represents the nurturing and sustaining aspect of the universe. Lakshmi and Vishnu represent harmony, balance, and preservation when combined.
She is frequently depicted with a lotus flower, which represents purity and spiritual enlightenment, and gold, which represents wealth and abundance. Elephants, which represent strength, wisdom, and royalty, are also associated with her. Lakshmi worship is common during festivals and auspicious occasions, especially during Diwali, the festival of lights. Devotees seek her blessings through prayers, rituals, and offerings in order to achieve material wealth, spiritual growth, and overall well-being. Overall, Lakshmi devi is revered as a compassionate goddess who bestows material abundance, spiritual growth, and the fulfillment of desires.

Meditating on the Kanakdhara Yantra is the most powerful way to achieve union with the diagram. Achieving the union is said to reveal all secrets of the world and one is supposed to gain access to knowledge of higher realms. In an oversimplified sense one must recreate the Kanakdhara Yantra diagram accurately in the mind and visualize it. This visualization technique may sound simple but is quite tough to achieve, one must spend years of sadhana just to create an accurate image of the diagram in their head.
One can start by sitting in a comfortable posture facing east with an accurate image of Kanakdhara Yantra at their Eye Level.
Perform Pranayama Anolom Vilom (Alternating nostril breaths) 10 times & meditate to purify your mind and thoughts.
Start by focusing on the Centre Point Bindu with your gaze going inward to outward from the Bindu to the 1st Layer of the small inverted triangle to the 2nd Layer of the upwardly pointing triangle to the 3rd Layer of the larger inverted Triangle to the 4th Layer of the Circle to the 5th Layer of 8 Petals of Lotus to the 6th Layer of the Circle to the 7th Layer of the 16 Petals of Lotus to the 8th Layer of the Circle to the 9th Layer of the second Circle to the 10th Layer of the third consecutive Circle to the 11th Layer of the first stripe of the Squares to the 12th Layer of the second stripe to the 13th Layer of the third stripe to the 14th Layer of the fouth stripe comprising the Squares in the outermost part. These are the steps or Avaran of Kanakdhara yantra.
Then your gaze should go from the Outermost Gate back to the Bindu.
Try to avoid blinking your eyes during this process. You can do this for multiple rounds for 30 minutes.
After you can focus with intent for at least 30 minutes (the stamina to just focus may take quite some time to develop) close your eyes and try to recreate the image of the Kanakdhara Yantra Diagram accurately.
Once you can create and sustain an accurate image of Kanakdhara Yantra in your mind try to focus one by one on the steps mentioned above and go from Bindu to Outermost gate & Back to Bindu however all this needs to be done in your mind in meditation with your eyes closed.
This visualization technique takes many years to master and bless the Sadhak with material success as well as spiritual augmentation.
