Maha Lakshmi Yantra energizes the location where it is installed. You may place it near the entrance of your home/office/shop or in your living room or reception or study room or office cabin. You may keep it on a table or use it as a wall hanging. Yantra is best placed in the East direction facing West. It gets energized by the rising rays of the Sun and with the divine vibrations of the East corner and provides positive transformation energies to the dwelling through its mystical geometry.

What is Maha Lakshmi Yantra?

Yantras are intricate and powerful geometric diagrams that hold profound significance in various cultures and traditions. They are geometric representations of specific Deities/Energies like how Mantras are audio/verbal representations of different Gods. Yantras act as channels to invoke the blessings and qualities of these specific deities. Mahalakshmi Yantra is a sacred geometry symbolizing Goddess Lakshmi and it carries her divine vibrations. Sri Lakshmi Yantra is worshiped by people for attracting prosperity and abundance and for fulfillment of material desires. According to the Saubhagya Lakshmi Upanishad, Mahalakshmi is the divine giver of boons, the bestower of wealth, has a golden form, and is adorned with a garland of gold. She has a golden sheen and dwells within a lotus symbolizing purity. In popular literature, Lakshmi personifies wealth, riches, beauty, happiness, grace, charm and splendor. According to a Hindu legend, when the universe was being created, Lakshmi sprang up from the foaming ocean that was being churned by gods and demons (Samudra Manthan) alongside other treasures. She carried a lotus in her hand and is therefore called Padma Lakshmi.

The 2-dimensional diagram of Shree Maha Lakshmi Yantra comprises two inverted interlocked triangles called Trikona, the emblem of Shakti, the absolute female energy of the Divine. It completes the manifestation of both material as well as spiritual worlds. These are surrounded by a circle outside the triangles, denoting the cosmic cycle of life. Outside of the circle are forms resembling the petals of a growing lotus. These petals are pointed outwards because they represent the broadening of our understanding and the opening of our minds to the beauty of the purpose of our most innermost pure intentions. An external wide circle representing movement adds dynamism to the yantra's intrinsic manifesting nature, in contact with the yantra's outward squares, also known as Bhupura which are associated with manifestation of desires in the material world.

The Maha Lakshmi Yantra is the most auspicious yantra for gaining the Goddess Lakshmi's unending blessings. This yantra is capable of bestowing prosperity and good fortune upon the devotee. In murky water, the goddess Mahalakshmi is seated upon a lotus flower in full bloom. She represents the extreme purity required to remain unaffected by one's surroundings and maintain focus on one's objective in this world. She desires for her devotees to enjoy her material blessings and be as joyful and energetic as herself. Lakshmi is renowned as an enthusiastic goddess moving from one place to another without being stopped by anyone. Lakshmi yantra propels you with the same vitality of jumping contentment from one direction to another in the material world in an ever-expanding circle of happiness, prosperity, and desire fulfillment in all facets of your life.

In Indian art, goddess Lakshmi is depicted as an ornately attired, golden-hued woman standing or seated in the padmasana position on a lotus seat, while holding a lotus, which symbolizes fortune, self-awareness, and spiritual liberation. Her iconography depicts her with four hands, which represent the four Hindu culturally significant aspects of human life (the 4 Purusharthas) named Dharma, Kama, Artha, and Moksha. Archaeological discoveries and ancient coins indicate that Lakshmi was known and revered by the 1st millennium BCE. She is the focus of the internationally renowned festival of lights, Diwali, which revolves around Her and is celebrated annually throughout the world.

How to Meditate on Maha Lakshmi Yantra? (Visualization Technique)

Meditating on the Maha Lakshmi Yantra is the most powerful way to achieve union with the diagram. Achieving the union is said to reveal all secrets of the world and one is supposed to gain access to knowledge of higher realms. In an oversimplified sense one must recreate the Maha Lakshmi Yantra diagram accurately in the mind and visualize it. This visualization technique may sound simple but is quite tough to achieve, one must spend years of sadhana just to create an accurate image of the diagram in their head.

One can start by sitting in a comfortable posture facing east with an accurate image of Maha Lakshmi Yantra at their Eye Level.

Perform Pranayama Anolom Vilom (Alternating nostril breaths) 10 times & meditate to purify your mind and thoughts.

Start by focusing on the Centre Point Bindu and moving your gaze inward to outward from the Bindu to the 1st layer of interlocked triangles (Trikona) to the 2nd layer comprising these into the circle to the 3rd layer of blossoming 8 petals of Lotus and to the 4th layer of visualizing all of it adjoined inside the outside circle. Finally, visualize the square shapes all together on the borders, and then return your gaze to the Bindu from the Outermost Gate. These are the steps or Avaran of Maha Lakshmi Yantra.

Try to avoid blinking your eyes during this process. You can do this for multiple rounds for 30 minutes.

After you can focus with intent for at least 30 minutes (the stamina to just focus may take quite some time to develop) close your eyes and try to recreate the image of the Maha Lakshmi Yantra Diagram accurately in your mind.

Once you can create and sustain an accurate image of Maha Lakshmi Yantra in your mind try to focus one by one on the steps mentioned above and go from Bindu to Outermost gate & Back to Bindu however all this needs to be done in your mind in meditation with your eyes closed.

This visualization technique takes many years to master and bless the Sadhak with material success as well as spiritual augmentation.
