Naag Dosha Nivaran Puja

Naag Dosha, also called Sarp Dosha is caused in a kundli due to inauspicious placement of shadow planets Rahu and Ketu. When Rahu or Ketu are placed in 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th or 8th house in conjunction with other planets such as Venus or Moon, a person suffers from Naag Dosha. Naag Dosha is often confused with Kaal Sarp Dosha but in reality both are different. In Vedic Astrology it is believed that Naag Dosha is caused because of the anger of the Serpent Lord due to deeds of ones' previous births. Due to Naag Dosha a native faces many hurdles in his or her life. The Dosha causes delay in marriage, issues in conceiving and during childbirth, problems in one’s family life and also health issues. A person suffers from Naag Dosha if in his previous births he or she wouldn’t have received proper cremation or if the death would have been due to accident or suicide or if the native has used or suffered from black magic or witchcraft or would have harassed a snake. To pacify the malefic effect of the Naag Dosha, Naag Dosha Nivaran Puja is highly recommended in which the Serpent Lord is worshipped along with Lord Shiva.
