Sanjeevani Parvat Hanuman Ashtadhatu Idol

In the Epic Ramayana, Lord Hanuman was sent to get the Sanjeevani Booti by Lord Shri Ram, when Laxmanji needed to be revived to life. For Lord Hanuman every command of Lord Ram was equivalent to the command of God Himself. Without knowing how or where to find the Sanjeevani booti. He picked up the Dronagiri mountain as He could not understand which herb was the Sanjeevani booti.
 

Lord Hanuman is portrayed standing upright, holding the Sanjeevani Parvat in his left hand, which is believed to give life, and his mace or gada in his right hand, signifying strength and protection. The design of his dhoti and its folds are clearly visible, as is the flowing hair below his crown and the sizeable earrings he wears.

The ideal place to keep a god idol is on a dedicated altar for prominence and respect, in a peaceful corner of the living room for daily worship and contemplation, or on a work desk or near the entrance of home/office for spiritual inspiration. As Lord Hanuman is the ruler of south direction, you may place in south facing north.
