Bhagawan Surya
Om Hraam Hreem Hraum Sah Suryaya Namah ||
Surya Yantra energizes the location where it is installed. You may place it near the entrance of your home/office/shop or in your living room or reception or study room or office cabin. You may keep it on a table or use it as a wall hanging. Yantra is best placed in the East direction facing West. It gets energized by the rising rays of the Sun and with the divine vibrations of the East corner and provides positive transformation energies to the dwelling through its mystical geometry.
Yantras are intricate and powerful geometric diagrams that hold profound significance in various cultures and traditions. They are geometric representations of specific Deities/Energies like how Mantras are audio/verbal representations of different Gods. Yantras act as channels to invoke the blessings and qualities of these specific deities. The Surya Yantra is a sacred geometric design containing both geometrical and numerical yantras associated with Bhagawan Surya along His etched image and mantras. The Surya Yantra helps alleviate the adverse impact of the Sun on one's natal chart because it represents the central Star of our Solar System, around which all planets orbit. The Surya Yantra is a powerful source of energy and vitality, channeling cosmic energies to empower, bring progress, and foster material and spiritual evolution.
The geometrical yantra comprises a Shaktona or two interlocked Triangles around its center (Bindu) representing the union of the masculine energies (Shiva) pointing upwards and the feminine energies (Shakti) pointing downwards. Circles standing for movement and a splendorous arrangement of Lotus petals radiate to the outwardly part of the yantra. Lotus is regarded as the divine emblem of purity that resides in the chakras in all Vedic and other faith scriptures. In Surya Yantra, a lotus represents the unconditional power of the Supreme Absolute Truth. Below it there is a numerical yantra with a 3x3 grid with etched numbers that sum up 15 either horizontally or vertically. The number 1 symbolizes new beginnings and fresh starts, while the number 5 is associated with change and creativity. The number 15 embodies unwavering focus and exudes charismatic energy. Taken together, this yantra is especially powerful for increasing energy and vitality, maintaining health, and achieving goals. It confers fame, notoriety, and superior social standing.
The Sun is the source of life. It also provides vigor and strength. It signifies self-awareness and is the planet that guides us ahead. A Sun that is prominently positioned in the birth chart makes an individual vibrant and captivating.
Surya Dev reflects the present and teaches that your greatest potential exists only in the current moment. It teaches us the importance of summoning our own power rather than yielding it to others. When we "perform" our Sun purpose, we are determined, driven, proud, and imaginative.
The position of the Sun in our birth chart represents our life's purpose. It provides life force, will power, intellect, brilliance, prosperity, success in worldly affairs, wealth, personal conduct, activity, cheerfulness, good fortune, wisdom, ambition, fame and understanding of the world.
As per ancient scriptures a yantra work in tune with the cosmic order. Every frequency/sound creates a waves vibration pattern which can be observed through various means and in turn sacred geometrical patterns contain divine frequencies. In Modern times this research has been done in the field of Cymatics.
Yantras are sacred geometrical patterns which are actually wave patterns of different Deities & Energies created by their inherent frequency. Just like how Specific Mantras aligns us with specific Deities & Energies, Yantras are tools which can be installed, worshipped & meditated upon to achieve union with these divine principles. There were extensively researched and are mentioned in various ancient Hindu Scriptures & Tantras. Surya Yantra embodies the Divine Principles of Surya & blesses us with their grace. The Surya Yantra derives its energy from its inherent scared geometry as well as the Electromagnetic Energy Field of Sunlight as well as Geomagnetic Energy Field of the Earth. When Surya Yantra is installed in your dwelling it vibrates at a frequency which harmonizes the environment with its principles.

Meditating on the Surya Yantra is the most powerful way to achieve union with the diagram. Achieving the union is said to reveal all secrets of the world and one is supposed to gain access to knowledge of higher realms. In an oversimplified sense one must recreate the Surya Yantra diagram accurately in the mind and visualize it. This visualization technique may sound simple but is quite tough to achieve, one must spend years of sadhana just to create an accurate image of the diagram in their head.
One can start by sitting in a comfortable posture facing east with an accurate image of Surya Yantra at their Eye Level.
Perform Pranayama Anolom Vilom (Alternating nostril breaths) 10 times & meditate to purify your mind and thoughts.
Start by focusing on the Centre Point Bindu with your gaze going inward to outward from the Bindu to the 1st Layer of the Shaktona or two interlocked Triangles to the 2nd Layer of the Circle to the 3rd Layer of the 8 petals of Lotus to the 4th Layer of the Circle to the 5th Layer of 12 petals of Lotus to the 6th Layer of the external Circle to the 7th Layer of the Squares in the outermost part. These are the steps or Avaran of Surya yantra.
Then your gaze should go from the Outermost Gate back to the Bindu.
To meditate on the numerical yantra, start by focusing on the first numeral on the upper left of the grid and then move your gaze horizontally to the upper right, then keep gazing at the numerals of the middle arrow from right to left, and then move your gaze through the numerals of the bottom arrow of the grid from left to right. These are the steps or Avaran of Surya yantra.
Try to avoid blinking your eyes during this process. You can do this for multiple rounds for 30 minutes.
After you can focus with intent for at least 30 minutes (the stamina to just focus may take quite some time to develop) close your eyes and try to recreate the image of the Surya Yantra Diagram accurately.
Once you can create and sustain an accurate image of Surya Yantra in your mind try to focus one by one on the steps mentioned above and go from Bindu to Outermost gate & Back to Bindu however all this needs to be done in your mind in meditation with your eyes closed.
This visualization technique takes many years to master and bless the Sadhak with material success as well as spiritual augmentation.
