Gajalaxmi Ashtadhatu Idol

This is a beautiful Gajalaxmi idol, made of pure silver, that would be a great addition to any home. Goddess Gajalaxmi is one of the Ashtalaxmi, which are the eight forms of Maa Mahalaxmi. She is traditionally worshipped for royalty, cattle, and animals. The idol portrays Goddess Laxmi in the middle, flanked by two elephants (Gaja in Sanskrit) on either side, and is seated on a blooming lotus. She holds a lotus in each of her upper arms, while her right lower hand is raised in the Abhaya Mudra, which blesses and protects her devotees. Her lower right hand is in the Varda Mudra, which confers boons. The lotus is a symbol of purity, prosperity, and auspiciousness. The Goddess's ornaments, attire, and facial expressions, as well as the carving of the elephants, are all expertly crafted.  

Ashtadhatu is a sacred mixture of 8 metals used for making Traditional Indian Idols and consists of Gold, Silver, Copper, Lead, Zinc, Tin, Iron & Mercury.

Note: Gold & Silver are present in very small trace amounts.  

Placement - The ideal place to keep a god idol is on a dedicated altar for prominence and respect, in a peaceful corner of the living room for daily worship and contemplation, or on a work desk or near the entrance of home/office for spiritual inspiration.
