Ganesh on Lotus Ashtadhatu Idol

A magnificent idol of Lord Ganesha made of Ashthadhatu has been crafted by skilled artisans. The idol depicts Lord Ganesha sitting on a beautifully carved blooming lotus pedestal, with his legs half-folded and his feet projecting out. The facial expressions, features, and details of the idol have been intricately carved. His trunk turns towards the left side. In his right lower hand, he holds his broken piece of tusk which he had used as a pen to write the epic Mahabharata, and in his left hand, he holds his favorite sweet, Modak. In his upper left arm, he holds the noose, and in the upper right arm, he holds the goad and axe. The crown on his head is richly carved. 

Lord Ganesha is worshipped worldwide as the God who removes obstacles from life and bestows success. He is the Pratham Pujya, the first deity to be worshipped before commencing any Puja, and brings auspiciousness. Each aspect of Lord Ganesha's form has a unique significance. He bestows wisdom, knowledge, intellect, good luck, prosperity, success in undertakings, artistic skills, and abundance. He rewards devotees with sweet rewards for their good work. 

Ashtadhatu is a sacred mixture of 8 metals used for making Traditional Indian Idols and consists of Gold, Silver, Copper, Lead, Zinc, Tin, Iron & Mercury. 

Note:- Gold & Silver are present in very small trace amounts. 

Placement: The ideal place to keep a god idol is on a dedicated altar for prominence and respect, in a peaceful corner of the living room for daily worship and contemplation, or on a work desk or near the entrance of home/office for spiritual inspiration.
